This month, I did this food shoot for Rosie and Carmen, again at Rosie’s very old country house in a village near my own.
Rosie provided the tableware and I did the styling and photographing.
Carmen came up with seasonal recipes: pumpkin and mushroom soup, chestnut soup with goats cheese and puff pastry croutons, black pudding, apples and kidney bean timbal, duck magret with apples, pumpkin and chestnuts barley-risotto.
And last, but by no means least: pear and almonds gratin and marron glacé cheesecake.
The cheesecake is by far one of the best desserts I have ever had the joy to taste and I’ve eaten a lot of desserts in my life.
Then after all our efforts we got to eat some of the dishes for lunch.
