In June, this year, I did a Summer Culinary Shoot for my fellow Femmepreneurs France members, Rosie and Carmen. I so enjoyed the experience that it gave me a kick up the proverbial and I decided to go pro this September.

The paper work is almost enough to make me regret the decision, but not quite.

This month, I did this food shoot for Rosie and Carmen, again at Rosie’s very old country house in a village near my own.

Rosie provided the tableware and I did the styling and photographing.

Carmen came up with seasonal recipes: pumpkin and mushroom soup, chestnut soup with goats cheese and puff pastry croutons, black pudding, apples and kidney bean timbal, duck magret with apples, pumpkin and chestnuts barley-risotto.

And last, but by no means least: pear and almonds gratin and marron glacé cheesecake.

The cheesecake is by far one of the best desserts I have ever had the joy to taste and I’ve eaten a lot of desserts in my life.

Then after all our efforts we got to eat some of the dishes for lunch.

Carmen has generously put the recipe for the cheesecake for you on her blog here.

Carmen’s website My Cooking World, FB Page and Instagram.

Rosie can be found on her FB account, unfortunately she does not at present have an e-shop and can only deliver locally.
