I photographed these crops in the summer, when the fields are a deeper green, or yellow with ripe wheat. After the harvest, interesting lines and shadows appear in the dry stubble.
These are images that invite contemplation. They are scenes that will bring calm and peace to your interior decor.
When I open the digital file on my computer the image is invariably all white. The colours appear by a combination of adjustments to the exposure, contrast, highlights or shadows. The image is there, but hidden, just like a film photo that is revealed in a bath of developing chemicals. I do not alter or artificially enhance the original image.
